My ideas and reflections on art

I have a certain vision of art and I consider that a work is the culmination of a journey marked by requirement, ideas, learning, novelties, heritage. It is even this clever mix that will touch its viewer. My profession as a sculptor is synonymous with passion but it is confronted with permanent doubt. It is important to reflect on what lives in us. I see my creative work as a challenge because being an artist means reading beyond appearances and wanting to materialize it! So when I create I take a trip. And when I present my works I extend this journey in good company. I don’t sculpt for myself, I do it for the eyes of others! I find our world so fragile and beautiful! So my vision of art is to try to capture this beauty without really succeeding. I always look for a part of dream and absolute! I value harmony and a beautiful truth in creation. And as Balzac wrote with talent “Art is not copying nature but expressing it”
